How do I ensure ActivePrime’s products are installed properly in the Oracle CRM On Demand Action Bar?

CleanEnter, ActivePrime Search, and CleanVerify reside in the CRM On Demand Action Bar (and on the “New” buttons throughout CRM On Demand).

Although CleanCRM, CleanImport, and CleanCSV do not have a user interface in the Action Bar, the applet resides there and must be enabled for the solutions to work where they are intended.

To add ActivePrime to the Action Bar, log into Oracle CRM On Demand as administrator and click on the Admin link. Click Application Customization and then Action Bar Layout. Click Create New Layout or Copy an Existing Layout. Name your layout and click Next. Add “ActivePrime” to the Displayed Sections and confirm that Search (for ActivePrime Search), Create (for CleanEnter), or Verify (for CleanVerify) are in the Displayed Sections, then click Finish.

To assign the Action Bar to a Role, log into Oracle CRM On Demand as administrator and click on the Admin link. Click User Management and Access Controls and then Role Management. Click Edit next to the role for which you want to enable the ActivePrime Action Bar. In Step 1, assign the action bar layout using the drop down. Skip to Step 4 and uncheck the box for My Setup: Personalize Action Bar (this step is optional, but recommended in order to lock the action bar so users cannot override it). Then, click Finish. Go back to User Management and Access Controls and click Reset Action Bar Layouts. In Step 1, select the Role to which you assigned the ActivePrime Action Bar. Click Next. In Step 2, click Finish.
